T-Ex LLM CLI
v1.9.10
8 October, 2026
vicoa session update --project <key|name|none>moves a session to another of your projects, or to No project; moving it into an archived project brings that project back, and an older server that ignores the move is reported instead of passing silently- A session moved to another project regroups in every open app at once, without a reload
- Find a task by its identifier after
#, such as#VIC-42, in the session composer and the new session prompt; a full identifier puts that task first even when it is done, and a partial one likevic-4narrows the list to that project's tasks - Fix replacing a project's uploaded icon with another sometimes leaving the old image showing
v1.9.9
6 October, 2026
vicoa automation create|update --agent-profile NAMElinks an automation to a saved agent, and--agent-profile noneunlinks it; a linked automation runs the agent's own config, so session flags passed next to it are refused instead of silently ignored- Fix an automation linked to a saved agent starting what looked like a plain session: the session now names the agent, shows in its run history, and the agent signs its task comments. Run now in the app also uses the agent's instructions
vicoa task create|update --description -reads the description from stdin, liketask comment -, instead of saving a literal "-"- Share a project's automations along with its tasks and sessions; the people you share with see them read-only
- Automations keep the order you drag them into in the app, and
vicoa automation lsand the mobile app list them the same way; each person's order is their own - Fix a project someone shared with you pulling in your own sessions from the same repository, where its owner could read and prompt them; it now takes them only once you add it to your sidebar
- Fix restarting the desktop app ending a running session whose prompt mentioned the daemon, which then showed as finished;
vicoa stop daemonno longer mistakes such a session for the daemon either - Fix worktree setup commands picking up the system
python3and missing your shell's tools on macOS; they now run in the daemon's own environment - A share link's page lists its sessions by latest activity and can filter them by status
- Harden the daemon: it refuses a git ref starting with
-, and its local server rejects connections opened from a website other than its own local page
v1.9.8
3 October, 2026
- People you share a session or a project with now follow it live in the normal session page; an editor can prompt it from the same composer, and a viewer reads along
- A project, its labels and its agents can belong to a team: move a project into a team from its settings, and everyone on the team can run the team's agents and assign them to the team's tasks
- Teams get a free Viewer role that reads and comments on the team's projects and sessions without taking a seat
- Videos open and play from the Files tab on the web, desktop and mobile instead of showing no preview; the machine holding the file needs this version of the daemon
- Remove webhook agents (Custom Webhook, T-Ex LLM Serve, GitHub Actions) and the webhook that forwarded a reply to an agent-supplied URL; the machine daemon starts and controls sessions instead
- The
live-previewagent skill now ships besidevicoa-cliinskills/, so it installs withnpx skills add T-Ex-LLM/T-Ex-LLM-Host --skill live-preview
v1.9.7
29 September, 2026
- Share a project or a single session with specific people by email, or with a whole team, not only by link; someone without an account gets the access when they sign up with that address
- Fix Windows sessions dying before they started when the daemon was launched from the CLI, which left the session marked failed with only "exited with code 3221225794" to go on; a failed launch now names the Windows error instead of saying "please try again"
- Every id the CLI prints is now the full id, and commands and agent tools take only a full id, so an id copied from
vicoa session lscan never end up naming a different session or failing when an agent passes it on - Auto mode is offered for every Claude model, including older ones like Opus 4.6
- Fix deleting a clean worktree failing with "working trees containing submodules cannot be moved or removed" in a repo whose submodules were never checked out there
- Fix deleting a worktree failing when the request came from inside that worktree or one of its folders
v1.9.6
26 September, 2026
- Claude Opus 5.5 can be picked for a Claude session like any other model, with its full 1M context window
v1.9.5
24 September, 2026
- Fix a session started with
vicoa session start, or by another agent, never being linked to a machine — which left it without a terminal, a Changes or files panel, a branch badge or file search, for the life of the session; the link is now stamped when the session is staged, and the daemon fills in a missing one when the session registers, so sessions staged by an older client are covered too - An agent installed by its own install script is now found where that script puts it —
~/.opencode/bin/opencodeand the same convention for any other tool — instead of reading as "not installed" on a machine wherewhich opencodeplainly works, because the installer only edits shell startup files the daemon never reads - Change a share link's audience, expiry, what it shows, or which of tasks and sessions it covers, without minting a new URL — every copy already sent out keeps working, which is the one thing a share link exists for
- Fix anyone signed in who knew a project share link's id being able to revoke it
- Fix notification emails pointing at a session address that has never existed, so "You can respond at" and "You can view the full session at" both landed on a 404
- Fix a session that is still running being filed as finished after seven days with no message — a long rate-limit wait no longer ends it
- The
vicoa-cliagent skill now ships with the CLI inskills/, so a coding agent can be taught to drive T-Ex LLM from the repo itself; it coverssession start|share|unshare, the project and label groups, task labels andworktree setup, with install notes for Claude Code and other agents inskills/README.md
v1.9.4
22 September, 2026
vicoa project ls|getandvicoa label ls|create— your projects and your label vocabulary are finally readable from the terminal, with open-task counts and the same colours the app picks--projecttakes a key (VIC), a name, ornonefor No project, not just a UUID — ontask ls|create|updateandagent add; an ambiguous name lists the candidates instead of guessing, andtask lsnow shows a PROJECT column- Filter and edit labels from the CLI:
task ls --label(repeatable, matching all of them), and--label/--add-label/--remove-labelon create and update task updatetakes several tasks at once, so a bulk move or re-label is one command instead of a shell loop — a ref that fails is reported and the rest still run, and a task that moved projects prints its new identifier (VIC-20 becomes VIC2-2)vicoa session share [ID]prints just the URL, ready to paste into agh prcommand — it defaults to the session it is running in and reuses an equivalent live link unless you pass--new;vicoa session unshare --link|--allrevokesvicoa session ls --since WHEN --until WHENasks for the sessions started in a window — a date, a datetime,today/yesterday, or an age like30m/24h/7d— and--offsetpages past the first 100- Fix a share link that opted into showing your name drawing an initials disc instead of your picture, and every other face on a shared board — assignees, comment authors and reactors — doing the same
v1.9.3
21 September, 2026
vicoa session update <id> --worktree <branch>re-files a session under another checkout of its repo — the worktree that has<branch>checked out, or the main checkout's own branch to move it back; the running agent stays where it is, only where the session is listed and where it next resumes changes. A session started in a subfolder lands in the same subfolder of the target- Deleting a worktree now returns in well under a second — the daemon moves it to a trash folder beside the worktrees and reclaims the files in the background, finishing any leftovers when it next starts; an un-forced delete still refuses a dirty tree or submodules the way git does
- OpenCode and other ACP agents' file edits now show as one card with the path and diff, like Claude Code's, instead of a bare "Edit" card followed by one named after the file; a shell command is carded as soon as it is named, before it finishes
- Fix search failing with "Search failed" for any query that matched a task under "No project" (web and mobile)
v1.9.2
20 September, 2026
- Worktree setup runs on the daemon, so a repo's committed setup commands run whichever device started the session;
vicoa worktree setup [PATH]runs it from a terminal (--dry-run,--trust,--force) - Share a session or a project with a read-only link — public or signed-in only, with optional expiry; your name and branch names stay hidden unless you opt in
- Fix duplicate projects created by sessions that registered before the daemon was up or from a machine without one; linking a folder now adopts the sessions that already ran there
- "No project" replaces the hidden Inbox; deleting a project moves its tasks and sessions there instead of deleting them
- Start a session in a subfolder of a repo — a new worktree forks the whole repo and starts in that subfolder
- Sidebar project order is stored on the server and follows you across devices
- Fix accounts showing as "Unknown" in activity and comments when the name lived only with the sign-in provider
- Fix Reveal in File Explorer on Windows for paths with a space
v1.9.1
16 September, 2026
- Add Google's Antigravity CLI (
agy, 1.1.15 or newer) as an agent — start and resume sessions, pick a model (each Antigravity model id already carries its effort), switch model or permission mode mid-session, and see its tool calls and token usage as they happen; an action the current permission mode doesn't allow ends the turn with a notice on how to unblock it, since headless agy cannot ask - Show Codex and GitHub Copilot usage limits the way Claude's already showed — the daemon reads them from that provider's own sign-in on the machine, and agents without a usage source hide the meter instead of erroring
- Catalog agents get a real model and permission-mode picker before launch — the daemon probes each agent once per machine and remembers the models and modes it offers, and a permission mode picked for an ACP agent is now actually applied
- Name a new worktree — the name becomes the branch and the folder, availability is checked by the daemon as you type, and a taken name is reported with the first free
-2/-3suffix suggested rather than silently changed - Open a file with the OS default app from the Files panel — macOS
open, Windowsexplorer, Linuxxdg-open— with executables refused; on Linux, Reveal now selects the file in the file manager instead of just opening the folder (#63) - Report each branch's pull-request state to the app with one
gh pr listper repository, so the sidebar's coloured branch icons stay clear of GitHub's rate limit; a machine withoutgh, an unauthenticated one or a repo with no GitHub remote just shows the plain icon - Fix sessions failing to start with "Headless Claude encountered a fatal error" when the server is slow — registration now retries for up to 20 seconds, the app waits for the session to actually exist before opening it, and a start that still fails reports why instead of leaving an empty session behind
- Sessions and machines are now shown live from their connection to the server rather than from a 30-second poll, and heartbeats cost the server a fraction of what they did — the load that pushed it into CPU throttling on 14 September is gone
v1.9.0
13 September, 2026
- Add any ACP agent from a catalog of 33 —
vicoa provider cataloglists them (Cline, Factory Droid, Qwen Code, Amp, goose, Junie, Kilo and more),vicoa provider add <id>makes one available on that machine with no daemon restart, andvicoa provider check <id>launches it and reports whether it actually works: its name and version, the models and modes it offers, or the stage it failed at and the last line it wrote to stderr - Add your own ACP agent, or a second profile of a built-in one with its own env and endpoint, under
agents.providersin~/.vicoa/config.json— edits are picked up live, and a malformed entry is skipped and logged, never fatal - ACP sessions (Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Kimi and any catalog agent) now show what the agent is doing: tool calls appear the moment they start, the agent's plan renders as a checklist, token usage updates live, the agent's own slash commands reach the composer, and shell commands it runs belong to the session — bounded output, stoppable, gone when the session ends
- Fix an unattended ACP permission prompt auto-approving after 15 minutes — it now waits a day, like Claude Code, and then declines
- Fix resuming an ACP session appending a second copy of the transcript
- Fix a dev server started by an ACP agent outliving the session
- Fix "Delete worktree" failing with
not_a_repoonce the folder was already gone — removal now runs from the main checkout, a folder that is already gone counts as removed, andvicoa.jsonteardown finally runs on app-driven removals - Fix a just-created session showing up as a second copy of its project in the sidebar until the next reload
v1.8.1
12 September, 2026
- Steer a queued message into the running turn — Claude Code, Codex, Pi and Oh My Pi pick it up at the agent's next safe boundary instead of after the turn ends; a message the agent can't take mid-turn goes back to the queue (#44)
- Fix backgrounded shell commands showing up as sub-agents — a slow
git pushno longer renders as a "Sub-agent: agent" card, it's an ordinary tool row (#49) - Sub-agent runs now carry the prompt they were given, the files they edited and whether the run failed
- Fix quitting the daemon waiting 3 seconds per open terminal tab — interactive shells are now hung up the way a closing terminal window does, and tabs close concurrently (#56)
v1.8.0
10 September, 2026
- Save named agent presets — a provider, model, config and system prompt under one name — and start a session or an automation from one, with
vicoa agent ls|add|rmandvicoa session start --agent-profile <name> - Give a preset's system prompt to any agent without writing a file into your repo or home directory
- Address tasks by a short
KEY-42identifier, and give them comments, emoji reactions and an activity log that records every change — whether it came from the app, the CLI, an agent or an automation - Fix worktree setup leaving the terminal parked on a half-typed command: a long setup chain now waits for the shell to actually start reading, and arrives in one piece instead of a character at a time (#42)
- Fix Stop leaving Claude's background sub-agents running for minutes afterwards — Stop now stops them too, and pressing it again while they wind down works (#41)
v1.7.19
8 September, 2026
- Fix a Codex session dying for good after a large tool result — oversized frames from the codex app-server are no longer dropped, at any size (#33)
- Open a project path on the session's own machine — Finder or Explorer, an editor, a terminal — with the daemon reporting only the apps actually installed there
- Add user avatars: upload your own picture, or have one seeded from your sign-in provider
- Set up the backend virtualenv during worktree setup, instead of leaving each worktree on whatever Python is on
PATH
v1.7.18
6 September, 2026
- Add native Pi and Oh My Pi (
omp) support - Fix a session hanging idle forever after start: its
initial_promptwas POSTed withmark_as_read=True, pointing the catch-up cursor at the prompt itself so every later replay excluded it — when the WebSocket handshake also outran the 10s live-broadcast wait, nothing could deliver it - Fix the Inbox auto-create race 500ing
/api/v1/projects
v1.7.17
3 September, 2026
- Add a declarative plugin system —
vicoa plugincommands to scan, install (git clone or directory copy; never runs install scripts), enable, and trust Tier 1 plugins under~/.vicoa/plugins/ - Add
claude-opus-5to the agent catalog (native 1M context, xhigh, auto mode) and default toautopermission mode for every Claude model that supports it (Sonnet 4.6+, Opus 4.7+, Opus 5, Fable 5) - Upgrade
claude-agent-sdk0.1.80 → 0.2.151 - Surface model reasoning as a collapsible Thinking card across Claude, Codex, and ACP agents instead of dropping it (Claude) or dumping it inline (Codex/OpenCode)
- Render ACP tool calls as tool cards instead of flat narration text, and fix hyphenated filenames being severed in ACP tool output
- Auto-create and self-heal a project the first time a session runs in a new directory or repo, auto-archive stale projects (30 days, no open tasks), and seed project icons from the git remote's owner avatar
- Fix
asyncpgfailing to build from source on Python 3.13 by bumping 0.29.0 → 0.30.0 (prebuilt cp313 wheels)
